Converter questions
What is the mid-market rate?
It's the midpoint between the rates banks buy and sell currency at, and the fairest benchmark. The rates here are European Central Bank reference rates.
How do I find my bank's margin?
Take the rate your bank offers, compare it with the mid-market rate at the same moment, and divide the difference by the mid-market rate. 1.1446 against 1.1800 is a 3% margin.
Is this the rate I'll get?
No. It's an indicative guide. Your specialist confirms your actual rate before you commit.
